Horseback Riding Summer Camp
Since 2010, Willowcrest has offered summer day camps for children aged four to fourteen years.

2026 Summer Camp Dates

Full Day Cost $519.80 per week ($460 plus hst)
9 am to 4 pm
*Extended hours if needed 8am to 5pm $55 plus tax/week

**A non refundable deposit of $200 is required to hold your space. The remainder is due one week before your chosen week of camp
Availability will be updated when there is less than 10 spaces remaining. If there are less than 5 spaces remaining please wait for a confirmation email to send your deposit. A wait list will be started once the week is full.
NEW THIS YEAR!!
We have added a half day camp for younger riders that are not ready to do a full day! We will limit the week to 15 children and have a ratio of 3:1 camper to camp counselor.

About Our Camps
Our horse camps at Willowcrest Farm offer a welcoming environment for equestrian enthusiasts ages 4 to 14 . Located on our 50 acre farm, the camp is designed to foster a love for horses while promoting safety, responsibility, and teamwork.
Campers engage in a variety of activities, including daily riding lessons, crafts, barn chores and stable management practices. Our instructors guide campers through foundational skills, ensuring that each individual develops confidence and competence.
Each morning is structured to provide hands-on experiences as they work through their rotations in small groups. The afternoons are filled with swimming and other equine activities.
Throughout the camp, participants have the opportunity to bond with both horses and fellow campers, creating lasting friendships and memories.
At Willowcrest Farm, we believe in nurturing a supportive community where everyone can thrive, making our horse camp a unique and enriching experience for all involved.
Camp activities may include:
Daily riding lessons
Horse care, grooming, and stable management in a fun environment
Guest speakers (e.g. veterinarian, blacksmith)
Crafts and games
Swimming in our indoor pool
Bareback and hay field rides
Equine Assisted Learning exercises
Campfire with s’mores
Scavenger Hunt
End-of-week horse show for parents
What to Bring to Camp
Boots with a small heel, preferably something that covers the ankle.
Long pants. Riding in shorts is not permitted! Ouch!
ASTM-approved helmet. If you're riding regularly, we recommend purchasing your own. Otherwise there are some helmets available for use at the barn.
Riding gloves if you have them
Lunch! Make sure you have it in something that can be zipped up. Our resident cats are always looking for a tasty snack!
Lots of water
Sunscreen
Bathing suit and towel
Hat or ball cap. Willowcrest ball caps are available for purchase at the barn at a cost of $20.
VOLUNTEERS WANTED!!
Join us this summer at Willowcrest Farm for Horse Camp! We seek animal and kid loving volunteers! Gain hands-on experience in horse care and leadership. Help campers develop essential skills for riding. Connect with like-minded individuals, form friendships, and contribute to a supportive environment for both campers and horses. You must be 14 years of age, have some horse experience or have attended Willowcrest as a camper in the past. If you are a high school student we can sign your volunteer hours sheet. Willowcrest offers weeks of camp in July and August.
